TTD has imposed restrictions on two-wheelers

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has imposed restrictions on two-wheeler traffic. These restrictions will be in effect from August 12 to September 30. During this time, two-wheelers are allowed on the ghat roads only from 6 am to 9 pm.

TTD Deputy Conservator of Forest said that this decision was taken for the safety of the pilgrims as well as to protect the wild animals which reproduce more actively in the months of August and September. TTD has asked pilgrims to cooperate in these measures.

TTD canceled Srivari Kalyanotsavam on 18th August at Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Pavitratsavam will be held at Srivari Temple from 15th to 17th August. On this occasion, Vedic programs will be held in the Sampangi prakaram of the temple till the night of 17th. Due to this reason TTD canceled the 18th Kalyan festival. TTD requests devotees to observe this matter.
