Kiev/Moscow, August 13: The war with Ukraine that has been going on for more than two years now has unexpected consequences for Russia. Russia is receiving counter blows from Ukraine. At the beginning of the war, Russia penetrated into the territory of Ukraine in the name of military action and carried out attacks.. Now Ukraine has also taken the same approach. Recently, Ukrainian forces entered Russian territory. Ukraine’s army chief Oleksandr Syrsky revealed on Monday that they have taken over a thousand square kilometers of land in the Kursu region.

After crossing the border into Russian territory, the Chief of the Army of Ukraine gave an official response to this for the first time. On the other hand, Ukrainian President Zelensky has also confirmed the fact that their forces have gone into Russian territory. In a video message posted on Telegram, he said that he has ordered to make plans to provide humanitarian aid to the people of the territory he has taken under control.

1.21 lakh people to other areas

Russian state media claimed that Ukrainian forces fired shells loaded with chemical weapons in the Kursu region during an incursion into Russian territory. To this extent, Kursu Region Governor Alexey Smirnov has been quoted as saying. But does Smirnov have any evidence for his accusations? Reuters stated that there is no clarity on that. Governor Smirnov stated that 12 civilians were killed in the Kursu region in the last six days of attacks by the Ukrainian forces, and 1.21 lakh people were evacuated to other areas.

There will be an appropriate response.

Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted strongly to the incursion of Ukrainian forces into the Kursu region. He warned that there would be more attacks on Kiev. He made it clear that this is an attempt to damage Russia’s stability and that we will respond strongly. Russia, which did not expect the invasion of Ukraine’s forces, is trying to stop it.
