The forest department officials immediately responded to this. 19 vehicles were seized for entering the restricted tiger reserve. 14 vehicles were seized at Ranthambore National Park Zone 8 and five at nearby hotels.
On the other hand, the seized expensive vehicles have number plates of Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, said Divisional Forest Officer Ramanand Bhakar. They said they are investigating how the tourists entered the restricted area despite tight surveillance.
