A terrible accident took place in Vijayawada. An APSRTC luxury bus pulled into platform number 12 at Pandit Nehru bus stand on Monday morning. Three persons including the bus conductor were killed in the incident. With this terrible accident, there was a fearful atmosphere in the bus stand. The bus conductor was identified as Veeraiah of Guntur-2 depot. A boy was also among the dead. RTC officials said that the incident took place due to brake failure. An RTC service bus from Vijayawada to Guntur met with an accident at Pandit Nehru bus stand. Depot RM says that the reason for the accident was that the driver put first gear instead of reverse gear.
