Visakhapatnam: Former TDP minister Ayyannapatra arrested

TDP leader and former minister Ayyannapatra was arrested by the Krishna district police. Ayyannapatra landed at Visakhapatnam airport from Delhi and was detained by the police. However, on August 22, Ayyannapatra held a Yuvagalam Sabha in Gannavaram. In that assembly, AP CM YS Jagan and YSRCP leaders were severely criticized. The former minister and MLA filed a police complaint against his remarks. On his complaint, the police arrested Ayyannapatra when he landed in Visakhapatnam.

A Yuvagalam Sabha was held in Gannavaram on August 22 under the aegis of TDP. Ayyannapatra, who participated in this program, made strong comments against the AP government. He criticized CM Jagan and YSRCP leaders. Responding to his comments, the former minister and MLA Perni Nani lodged a complaint with the Krishna district police. Perni Nani has mentioned in her complaint that she made inappropriate comments on the CM. With that, the police have registered a case against Ayyannapatra under sections 153 A, 354 A1(4), 504, 505(2), 509 IPS.

Ayyannapatra reached Visakhapatnam after his visit to Delhi. On receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and arrested Ayyannapatra. After that he was shifted to Krishna district. However, after learning about the arrest of Ayyannapatra, the TDP leaders are expressing their anger against the YCP government. If YCP leaders are questioned, they get angry saying that cases are being made illegally and arrests are being made. Meanwhile, it seems that Ayyannapatra’s phone will be switched off. TDP leaders are demanding to leave Ayyannapatra.��
