Former Telangana CS Somesh Kumar reached Vijayawada on Thursday. Speaking to the media on this occasion, he said that a joining reporter will be given along with the Chief Secretary in Vijayawada. Later, he revealed that he will meet CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that he is ready to work in any way in AP. As a government employee I will fulfill any responsibility given to me. As an officer, I am following the orders of DoPT. He said that he will work regardless of status. After talking to the media, he left for Vijayawada by road from Gannavaram Airport.
It is known that Someshkumar was shocked by the High Court. At the time of bifurcation of the state, Someshkumar was assigned to AP and the court canceled the continuation in Telangana stating that he should perform his duties there. Due to the delay in the High Court verdict, the Center also issued orders relieving Somesh Kumar. She ordered to go to AP immediately.
Someshkumar’s tenure is till December this year. So he has to complete the rest of his term in AP. And there is interest in what posting he will be given in AP.
