Women’s T20 World Cup | Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has focused on other options after India expressed its reluctance to host the Women’s T20 World Cup. It seems that the desert country UAE is ready to host the World Cup. According to the earlier schedule, the tournament was supposed to be held in Bangladesh in October this year, but the ICC intends to move the World Cup in the wake of the tense situation in that country.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has asked for a few more days assuring that the tournament will be held, but the ICC is not satisfied. As the weather conditions in UAE are favorable for the organization of this tournament, it is reported that the country is eager to organize the mega tournament. With international standard stadiums in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the experience of holding the Men’s T20 World Cup there, it seems that the ICC is also leaning towards the UAE. The Women’s World Cup is scheduled to be held from October 3 to 20.
