AP Weather: A break from the scorching sun.. Heavy rain forecast for these districts of AP

Thunderstorm alert for people of AP. On Monday, there is a chance of light to moderate rains with scattered thundershowers in Srikakulam, Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitaramaraj, Sri Sathyasai, YSR and Annamaya districts, Disaster Management MD Ronanki Kurmanath said. Light rain will fall in other places. Disaster agency MD Kurmanath said moderate to heavy rains with scattered thundershowers are expected in Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Parvathipuramanyam, Alluri Sitaramaraj, Eluru, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nellore, Nandyala, Sri Sathyasai, YSR, Annamaiya, Chittoor and Tirupati districts on Tuesday. People should be alert during thunderstorms. Farmers working in the fields, agricultural laborers and cattle-shepherds are advised not to stay under trees and in open places.

According to disaster agency MD Ronanki Kurmanath, there is a possibility of hailstorm in 29 mandals and Ellundi in 15 mandals on Monday.

Singavaram of Kurnool district, 45.5°C in Vepinapi Akkamambapuram of Nellore district, 45.2°C in Veligandlo of Prakasam district, Manganellur of Tirupati district, Uppalur of YSR district, 45.1°C in Simhadripuram, Tisundupalle of Annamayya district 44.7°C. C, 44.4°C in Ravipadu of Palnadu district, 43.6°C in Punganur of Chittoor district, 43.3°C in Veerulapadu of NTR district and 43.1°C in Yerrampet of Alluri district were revealed. Also, severe hailstorms have occurred in 5 mandals and hailstorms in 117 mandals. It is advised to take precautions against sun exposure.
