TTD EO Mr. AV Dharma Reddy emphasized that Vedas are repositories of knowledge, modern human society needs to combine Vedas and modern sciences to live in peace and comfort, and develop SV Vedic University as a world center of Vedic science.

Evo was the chief guest at the four-day Vishwa Vedic Vigyan Sammelan, which started in Tirupati on Wednesday under the joint auspices of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Ministry of Education, Government of India and Department of Indian Science Systems.

Speaking on this occasion, Evo said that besides spiritual knowledge, technical knowledge is hidden in the Vedas. The conglomerate aspires to act as a platform to push the limits and bring about innovative discoveries by combining modern sciences with Vedic sciences. While the modern sciences are the source of all questions, the Vedic sciences are said to be the source of all answers. He said that there is a need to integrate both to explore new solutions for the well-being of the human race. He explained that about 7-8 lakh devotees were given darshan through Vaikuntha for ten days by combining both scientific and religious methods.

In establishing the Sri Venkateswara Vedic University at Tirupati, the main objective of TTD is to bring together both Vedic and modern sciences for the preservation and propagation of Vedic Dharma and to establish new and sustainable methods that will benefit humanity for generations to come.

Earlier, VC Prof. National Sanskrit University, New Delhi. Srinivasa Varakhedi in his speech pointed out that Vedic sciences aim at sustainable development and Akhanda Vidya is possible only through Vedic education. While modern sciences focus on finding the cause of a problem, Vedic sciences provide a solution to any problem. It is said that when modern and Vedic sciences meet, a new scientific technology emerges from the Vedic sciences. He opined that for this to happen, scholars and scientists should be invited and more conferences and research programs should be organized in the university.

Renowned Sanskrit scholars, Shri Chandrasekhara Saraswati Vishwa Maha Vidyalaya University VC Brahmashri Prof. Kutumba Shastri said that all these science rituals are being performed on the basis of Yajna which is Yajnovaishreshthamankarma. Therefore it is said that Yagnams should be performed as all the Karmas are performed by Agni in this universe. Accordingly, he suggested that research should be done on many topics in the Vedic University.

Prof. Satyanarayana, director of IIT Tirupati, said that the scientific aspects hidden in the Vedas will be presented to the world in the Vishwa Vedic Science Association. For this, we will work together with SV Vedic University to provide Vedic knowledge to everyone, he said. He informed that Veda means knowledge and that knowledge helps the development of the world and India.

Prof. GSN Murthy, National Coordinator of IKS Division from New Delhi, said that
Vedic science should be implemented in all universities. So that Vedic knowledge like that found in the Vedas will be available to all. Chanting the mantra of Sangachchdhvam and Samvadvatam, he called everyone to carry out a comprehensive research on the Vedas and provide the Vedic knowledge as found in the Vedas to everyone.

SVU VC Prof. Rani Sadashivamurthy, who presided over the conference, said that the aim of the four-day conference is to explore the seeds of knowledge hidden in our Vedic Dharma. He said that along with experts from countries like America, Australia and Nepal, celebrities from all over the country are also participating in this state-of-the-art modern science – Vedic science conference held in the university. In 26 technical sessions around 90 speakers will present papers and speeches on interesting topics like Earth and Space Sciences in Vedas, Atharva Vedic Vanaspati Science, Vedic Creation, Samavedic Agni Science, Ayurveda. He explained that the conference will serve as a "knowledge bank" for future generations.

Registrar Shri Radhagovinda Tripathi, Deans Acharya Shri Venkata Subrahmanya Sharma, Acharya Shri Phani Yajneswarayazulu, Program Co-ordinator Shri Tarakarama Sharma and other scholars, faculty, students and invitees were present.
